Police rescued a 12-year-old Catholic girl who had been abducted two months prior by a neighbor and forced to convert to Islam and to marry the captor.
The Alabama delegation met last week to talk about the latest on Space Command headquarters coming to Huntsville, Britt said. She said they don’t want to get ahead of themselves but said, “things look really good.”
“According to a recent survey, 72% of high school teachers in the country reported that cell phones are distracting students,” she said, referring to a recent Pew Research study.
“Sometimes I think about it and I ask God why. But I know God brought us here and took care of us, so I know in the future it will be the same,” she said. “No matter what, He will take care of us.”
