A crime suppression unit in Montgomery has seen significant increases in arrests and seizures since its inception last year, state law enforcement leaders shared Monday.
“The state has improved in some child well-being data points, yet child poverty has remained unchanged for the last 20 years,” said Apreill Hartsfield, Alabama Kids Count director for VOICES.
The Education Recovery Scorecard, developed by researchers from Harvard, Stanford and Dartmouth universities, indicates that Alabama has returned to pre-pandemic levels in math and is nearing that milestone in reading.
“The mission of the changing table is to promote community, inclusion, access and equality for individuals with disabilities who cannot safely utilize the standard, handicap accessible restroom,” said June Wilson.
