Sometimes I cringe when I think of my young days as a pastor. I started pastoring full-time at age 20, and only the grace of God and the love of forgiving churches helped me survive.
Regrettably, churches too often lose touch with the students they helped raise when they go away to school. Perhaps these ideas will help your church avoid that tendency.
This coming Sunday (May10), many of us will celebrate Mother’s Day in our church. If your church is planning to honor mothers, here are some pastoral thoughts to keep in mind:
