“Equipping the Church to Engage the Culture” will be the theme of the Baptist Association of Christian Educators’ 50th anniversary celebration Feb. 24-26 at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta.
The association, founded in 1956 as the Southern Baptist Religious Educators Association, seeks to build bridges among religious education professionals to give a growing branch of church ministry recognition and a vehicle for the exchange of ideas.
With more than 1,300 members, BACE brings together church education ministers, workers from various Baptist national and state conventions and regional associations, administrators involved in Christian education, students and people from other professional interests.
George Gallup, Jr., D. Michael Lindsay and Sue Mallory will be featured speakers at the annual meeting. More information about the meeting can be accessed at www.baptisteducators.org.
