"We’re in good shape” was the report from the audit and insurance committees Nov. 12 to Alabama Baptist State Convention messengers.
Bobby DuBois, statistical secretary for the convention and associate executive director of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, said members of the audit committee “take their assignment very seriously.”
“We’re serious about making sure we use the missions dollars that come from our churches wisely,” he said.
The insurance committee also felt like all was well, DuBois reported.
“They had nothing but good things to say about how things were being addressed among the entities” as far as insurance coverage goes, he said.
