DALE ASSOCIATION
Bethel Baptist Church, Newton, celebrated its 150th anniversary Oct. 11 with a special service and dinner on the grounds. Jim Hill, director of missions for Dale Baptist Association, spoke, and the Byrd Family provided music. Ellen Dewberry, a commissioner for the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, presented a certificate, and a brief history of the church was distributed. Mike Griggs is pastor. (Dale)
