Bethlehem Church, Linden, will celebrate its 150-year anniversary at its homecoming service Sept. 23, 10:30 a.m. Don Newton will preach and Mitzi Gates will bring special music. A covered-dish lunch and time of fellowship will follow the service. Daniel Gandy is pastor.

East Heflin Baptist Church, Heflin, celebrated its 75th anniversary May 10, the same date as the church’s first service in 1951.
First Baptist Church Elba celebrated staff appreciation April 19, honoring Judith Tucker, the church pianist, and Ella Kate Ham, the organist, for their faithfulness and ministry for more than 50 years each.
