Birmingham
Following the Feb. 10 death of Birmingham Association Executive Director Mike McLemore the associational executive committee has decided to forgo naming an interim while the search begins for the next executive director. The association will operate under the organizational structure that already exists with Michael Ethridge overseeing the day-to-day operations and Ethridge, Butch Henderson and John King serving as the staff leadership team. Associational moderator Jim Cooley, pastor of First Church, Birmingham, will meet with the staff each week and the executive committee will meet monthly to provide leadership and support for associational activities.
