Just wanted you to know how much I personally enjoyed reading the May 14 editorial, “The Worst Kind of Legislation,” and comments concerning the upcoming legislation related to gambling within our state. Your overall evaluation was spot-on and the statistics you stated were eye-opening. As a reformed — by being transformed — compulsive gambler, I can assure you and your readers that the suicide rate will definitely increase. As you well-stated, Senate Bill 453 has no place within the Christian faith. Thank you for your bold stance on this extremely detrimental issue.
