The following is a compilation of stories that were written and published by TAB Media Group’s The Baptist Paper following the release of Great Commission Resurgence Task Force audio files that were unsealed and made available to the public June 16, 2025.

As noted below, the initially released collection includes 57 compact disc recordings, one DVD recording, a few printed blog posts from the pray4gcr.com website (which is no longer functional) and the printed GCRTF progress report from February 2010.

On Sept. 15, 2025, the Southern Baptist Historical Library & Archives in downtown Nashville announced it had received an additional four volumes of 1,070 pages. This latest collection contains background materials, reports detailing progress and recommendations, the final amended report, meeting materials, contributing documents, correspondence, supporting presentations, communications from GCR Task

Force chair Ronnie Floyd and task force members to the SBC, prayer partner emails, endorsements, press releases and a directory. While this report does not include everything that was discussed in the task force meetings, we sought to capture at least a snapshot of the tension and commitment of those in the room who dedicated their time to complete the task that SBC messengers assigned them.

It essentially is a conversation starter, not all-encompassing blow-by-blow account of the task force meetings. With that said, we do hope it is helpful.
