Harvey C. Brown, longtime pastor of two Alabama Baptist churches, died June 26. He was 94. Brown served as pastor of Second Baptist Church, Fort Payne, and Moore Avenue Baptist Church (now Hillcrest Baptist Church), Anniston, for a total of 25 years before retiring.
