Dave Burns has been called as senior pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Prattville.
He recently retired as associate to senior adults and pastoral care of First Baptist Church Prattville. Burns attended John C. Calhoun Jr. College, The University of Alabama and Liberty University online.
He has two married children and four grandsons.

Alberton Baptist Church, Kinston, will host Vacation Bible School June 22–27, Sunday 5–7:30 p.m. and Monday through Friday 6–8:30 p.m.
