Carol Swaney Brown, wife of Pastor Bill Brown of Happy Hill Baptist Church, Heflin, died Feb. 9. She was 75. Brown was a gifted musician who played piano and sang at churches in Georgia and Alabama from the age of 14. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
