His Place, a one-year residential program in Opelika founded in 1986 by evangelist Rick Hagans and his wife, Kim, aims to help men overcome addiction. A companion ministry for women, Hosanna Home, opened in 1996.
“I grew up with the School of the Prophets at 12th Street Baptist Church in Gadsden,” Craig Carlisle recalled, “and I wanted to bring it back and offer encouragement to our churches.”
