I was driving around town taking care of a few errands when I came to a red light at a busy intersection. As I pulled to a stop I heard the intense voice of a man saying, “Have you been saved?”
Right on schedule, the annual reset weekend fell into place. For as long as I can remember, Labor Day weekend has served as an essential opportunity to pause for a moment, clear my mind and regroup for the months ahead.
This summer, I had an amazing time as an intern for The Alabama Baptist newspaper. Since I was reared from parents who read this newspaper, I was especially honored for the opportunity.
