Terry Gillespie, pastor of Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church in Hillsboro, died Aug. 26. He was 68.
Gillespie had served as Chalybeate Springs Baptist’s pastor since 2018. According to his eulogy, “He loved his Lord, wife, family, and his church. Terry’s life was marked by a love and commitment for his family, church, and community. It can be witnessed in the many ways he gave to and faithfully served others throughout his life.”
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Vickie; daughter, Suzy; sons, Heath and Kevin; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
