Children’s event to focus on hunger

Isaiah 58:10 instructs believers to “work hard to feed hungry people,” and Feb. 16, more than 10,000 children are expected to do just that. Following the theme Hope for the Hungry, children from churches nationwide will participate in Children’s Ministry Day, a one-day missions event sponsored by national Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU).

During the day, children will work together to help needy people and better understand the needs of others in their community. WMU has developed a promotional pack with resources to help churches organize the event.
