Marty Barber began as the new minister of youth for Chulafinnee Baptist Church, Heflin, on Aug. 9.
Barber is a graduate of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and is employed by Noble Bank in Anniston.
He comes to Chulafinnee from Fruithurst Baptist Church. Philip Morris is pastor of Chulafinnee.
Johnny Kilgore has retired as minister of music for Central Baptist Church, Trussville, where he served for 13 years.
Tim McFather is the new pastor of West Point Baptist Church, Jacksonville.
Nick Sharp is the new pastor of Fyffe First Baptist Church, where he has been serving as interim pastor.
Lynn Darnell is the new pastor of Solitude Baptist Church, Albertville, where he has been serving as associate pastor for more than a year.
