Samford University is offering an Instant Piano Class for Hopelessly Busy People May 21, 6-9:30 p.m.
A beginning class in chord piano allows students to learn in one session all the chords needed to play any pop song, any style, and in any key.
Students learn to read chord symbols, not notes.
They also learn how to embellish songs using the secrets and magical shortcuts of professional piano players.
One prerequisite is to know treble clef. If you do not know treble clef, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Samford After Sundown, 800 Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham, Al 35229.
