Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Fruithurst, in Cleburne Baptist Association, observed Veterans Day on Nov. 11 by dedicating a new flagpole on the church grounds. Longtime member Reba Gay said the flagpole had been a dream of hers for quite a while. A friend purchased the pole, and a community member donated his services to set the pole. The church invited community members and veterans to join them for the observance. Veterans Randy Ginn and Andrea Ellison raised the flag. Click here to view a video of the flag-raising ceremony.
