Coffee Baptists make history with outreach

Coffee County Baptist Association (CCBA) churches continue to stay out front in many areas of Baptist life in the county.

The CCBA evangelism committee has sponsored two of the three largest evangelistic/religious events in county history in the last two years.

With the mission development committee’s emphasis on church planting, three new congregations have been added to the association in four years.

One has been recognized by the state convention for three consecutive years as a leader in ratio of baptisms to members.

The association also has a camp and retreat center, The Vineyard, which provides summer camps and a place for other groups to use for retreats or meetings.

The third regional Royal Ambassadors Campout will be held there May 13-14.

And on June 18, CCBA will join with the chaplains at Fort Rucker to host Dave Roever for a patriotic and evangelistic “God and Country Rally” at the Farm Center in New Brockton.
