Year-to-date contributions to Southern Baptist national and international missions and ministries received by the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) Executive Committee (EC) are $31,959,358.96, or 2 percent more than the year-to-date SBC Cooperative Program (CP) Allocation Budget projection and are 6.35 percent above contributions received during the same time frame last year, according to a news release from SBC EC President and CEO Frank S. Page.
The year-to-date total represents money received from Oct. 1 through Nov. 30 for distribution through the CP and is $1,909,105.56 more than the $30,050,253.40 received through the end of November 2013. It also is $626,025.63 more than the $31,333,333.33 year-to-date budgeted amount to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.
Designated giving
Designated giving of $7,315,431.74 for the same year-to-date period is 5.90 percent, or $407,785.80, above the $6,907,645.94 received at this point last year.
However, November’s CP allocation receipts for SBC work totaled $15,940,178.11 — $498,641.15 less than November 2013.
