Damascus Baptist Church, Gadsden, celebrated its 75th anniversary June 28 with gospel quartet The Alabama Crossmen. Peggy Johnson was recognized as the longest tenured member, and Wendell Dutton from the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission presented a plaque marking the anniversary to pastor Eddie Stevenson.
