Washington — After 17 years Patsy Davis, executive director of the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) Women’s Department, is set to retire effective Dec. 31.
Prior to taking up her position at BWA in 1998, Davis was a Southern Baptist International Mission Board missionary for 21 years, serving as general secretary of the National Woman’s Missionary Union of Venezuela.

Pastor Will Faulkenberry of Mosaic City Church in Huntsville said he has a lot to be thankful for. On Nov. 9, he underwent a successful kidney transplant and is recovering well. He hopes to return home to Huntsville tomorrow (Dec. 3).
