Discerning God’s will

Discerning God’s will

I am writing concerning your editorial “Simply Unexplainable” in the Feb. 10 issue. I somewhat agree with you, and I somewhat agree with Henry Blackaby.

No, we cannot know the mind of God. We do know that God is nature’s God and that He can use any means He wants to bring about His goodness and judgment. The area hit by the tsunami is an area where Christians have been persecuted and the people worship pagan gods of Islam, Hindu and Buddha. We cannot say that this was not the judgment of God. What we must acknowledge is that God is on His throne and His will is being and will be done.
