Doug Dortch retired as senior minister of Mountain Brook Baptist Church in November after serving 10 years.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in counseling and guidance from the University of Montevallo, and M.Div., Th.M. and Ph.D. degrees from Southern Seminary.
He previously served at First Baptist Church Tallahassee, Florida; Trinity Baptist Church, Madison, Alabama; FBC Elba, Alabama; and Lebanon Baptist Church, Kentucky.
He and his wife, Judy, have two children and three grandchildren.
