The celebration of life service for Lamar Duke, church planting strategist for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (SBOM), will be held March 14 at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Montgomery. Plans are for the service to continue as planned in Stakely Sanctuary. Duke, who joined the SBOM staff in 2013, died Feb. 11.
“Lamar Duke was a treasured friend and missions colleague,” said Rick Lance, SBOM executive director. “His positive spirit was contagious and appreciated by so many who knew him.” (TAB)
