Jeremy Smalley is the new pastor of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, Montgomery.
He previously served as pastor of First Baptist Church Bayou La Batre, minister to students at FBC Arab and interim youth minister for FBC Hartselle.
Other experience
Smalley served in a variety of committee roles for Mobile Baptist Association and Marshall Baptist Association; chapel preacher for Mobile Rescue Mission; board member for Northeast Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Marshall County; and team chaplain for the Arab High School football team.
He also served a stint on the state convention’s credentials committee. He holds a master of divinity degree from New Orleans Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in religion from Samford University. Smalley and his wife, Amber, have two boys.
