Rick Marshall, former pastor of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, Montgomery, was named pastor emeritus of the church in June.
Marshall served as pastor of Eastern Hills from 1994 to 2017, the year he retired from a 45-year ministry career where he served as pastor of four churches during those years.
He and his wife, Judy, have remained members of Eastern Hills.
