Jay Spivey is the new associate pastor of discipleship at First Baptist Church Montgomery. He previously served with the North American Mission Board and as missions pastor of Istrouma Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Spivey is returning to FBC, having served there as associate minister to students and outreach assistant. He and his wife, Ashley, have two children. Mark Bethea is pastor.
