Jay Spivey is the new associate pastor of discipleship at First Baptist Church Montgomery. He previously served with the North American Mission Board and as missions pastor of Istrouma Baptist Church, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Spivey is returning to FBC, having served there as associate minister to students and outreach assistant. He and his wife, Ashley, have two children. Mark Bethea is pastor.
Terry Slay, minister of adult education of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Huntsville, for almost 14 years, recently retired.
Jeremy Plunkett is the new student pastor of First Baptist Church Douglas.
Ethan Blackwell is the new student pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Saraland.
Tanner Rowell is the new pastor of Hill Spring Baptist Church, Mobile.
