Former Alabama pastor Charles T. Heltman Jr. died Feb. 16. He was 83. During his 60 years of ministry, Heltman served as pastor of churches across Alabama and Mississippi, including Trinity Baptist Church, Montgomery, and South Highlands Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa.
