William W. “Bill” Causey Sr., longtime Mississippi Baptist pastor and retired executive director-treasurer of the Mississippi Baptist Convention Board, died Sept. 6. He was 81. Causey led the board from 1989 until his retirement in 1998. He earlier had served two terms as president of the Mississippi Baptist Convention.
