Giving as worship

I wish to thank you for the wonderful article written in The Alabama Baptist on Sept. 30 titled “Giving — A Worship Experience.” It was right on target and timely.

We have been discussing that very subject at our church council meetings. The question has been brought to us by some church members as to who is a “priest” and who is not.

We have searched the Scriptures to define the “priest” but also the need, or command, to tithe. Your commentary was a great help in pointing out the absolute command of God from the beginning.

Please know that many others will need to read and reread your discussion of a very important subject.
