Don’t Let Me Miss the Glory
Spring Hill Music
Gordon Mote has been a band member for the Gaither Homecoming tour, as well as the Gaither Vocal Band and Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. What he does on stage is nothing less than magical.
Although his past solo projects have been fabulous, “Don’t Let Me Miss the Glory” puts him in the forefront as one of gospel music’s finest talents. Singing, playing, writing, arranging — he does it all and he does it to perfection.
This recording could and should be played on every Christian radio station in America, no matter the format and genre style. The snappy, toe-tappin’ “I Know Somebody Who Does” is a hit, and you will be singing along by the time the second chorus comes around. There are also three “story” songs — “Wake up Dancin’,” “Maplewood Methodist Church” and “Mercy Walked In.”
Special guests include Alison Krauss, the Gaither Vocal Band, The Isaacs, Kimberly Mote and the Voices of Lee. Gordon Mote produced this gem with the assistance of award-winning producer Phil Johnson. The supporting musicians and background singers are simply the best in Nashville.
If you pass on this recording, you will be missing the glory that is found in a talented servant, sharing his God-given, considerable talents with the world. So please, don’t miss the glory.
