Jason Leight is the new discipleship pastor for Grace Life Baptist Church, McCalla.
He previously served as pastor of Eastern Valley Baptist Church, Bessemer, and as executive director of The Grace Place, a food and clothing ministry in Bessemer.
Leight holds a bachelor of arts degree in Christian ministry from Luther Rice University, Lithonia, Georgia; a master of divinity degree from New Orleans Seminary; and is pursuing a doctor of philosophy degree in biblical studies from Midwestern Seminary. Leight and his wife, Crystal, have three sons. Joel Frederick is pastor.
