History & Heritage Society plans to focus on women at June meeting

Women in Baptist History will be the theme of the Baptist History & Heritage Society’s June 2-4 annual meeting at Samford University in Birmingham.

The meeting will feature keynote speaker Sarah Frances Anders, distinguished emeritus professor of sociology at Louisiana College in Pineville, La.

Twenty-five other speakers, including Frances Hamilton, executive director of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, will also share their thoughts and research. The auxiliary Fellowship of Baptist Historians will also meet June 2.
