Hospitals and critical care units: How does Alabama stack up?

According to a March 24 update by the Alabama Department of Public Health, Alabama has 215 coronavirus cases in 25 counties.

As the number of positive tests for the coronavirus increase in Alabama, how does the state compare to other states when it comes to critical care?

According to the Alabama Hospital Association, Alabama has 124 hospitals. Some are specialty hospitals, while others are smaller hospitals providing non-critical care. Eight counties in Alabama have no hospital at all. Thirteen counties in Alabama have hospitals with no ICU beds.
