Jack’s Life

Jack’s Life

Douglas Gresham. Nashville: Broadman & Holman, 2005. 167 pp. (Hardback).

Here is an outstanding tribute to the famous Christian thinker and apologist C.S. Lewis written by his stepson, Douglas Gresham.

The author writes: “Jack was the finest man and best Christian I have ever known. I loved him and dearly cherish his memory.”

To be sure, many volumes have been written about this truly great philosopher and thinker, but this one is unique inasmuch as Lewis was a true mentor for the author.

For example, Gresham writes: “I am sometimes asked what it is like living in the shadow of such a great man, and I always point out that Jack didn’t leave a shadow behind but a glow.”
