James E. “Jimmy” Dukes, longtime pastor of Spanish Trail Baptist Church, Daphne, died May 19. He was 72. Before serving as pastor of Spanish Trail Baptist, Dukes was pastor of Judson Baptist Church, Atmore, for 27 years.
