Q: What led you to begin teaching Sunday School?
A: I began teaching Sunday School when I was 18 years old. My teacher moved away and I was just going to lead the discussion a Sunday or two until we had a teacher, and it ended up becoming a permanent position.
Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: A fulfillment that nothing else could offer.
Q: How do other family members support you?
A: My husband did not object to me being away, and he heartily agreed that that was what I should be doing. Then he became involved and it became a family affair with him going with me.
Q: What difference has this ministry made for you in the past?
A: It certainly broadened my horizons in every area and made me more dependent on the Lord. Visiting mission fields … exposed me to many interesting personalities.
