Former reality TV star Josh Duggar, 34, was sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison May 25 after his request for a retrial or acquittal of two child pornography convictions was denied.
Duggar was accused of having hundreds of child pornography images of children “ranging from about 18 months of age to 12 years of age” on his devices.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges but in December was convicted in an Arkansas federal court on one count of receiving child pornography and one count of possessing child pornography.
Josh Duggar is the eldest child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, whose ultraconservative family was featured on the reality TV shows “19 Kids & Counting” and “Counting On.”
