About 350 alumnae gathered at Judson College for its annual alumnae weekend, J-Day, April 6–7. Members of the class of 1957 celebrated their 50th reunion and were honored as the Golden Class April 6.
The graduating class of 2007 was inducted into the alumnae association April 7 and awards were presented, recognizing various alumnae.
The Mobile/Baldwin alumnae chapter won the Outstanding Alumna Chapter Award, and the Middle Tennessee chapter won the Budding Chapter Award.
Leah Washburn of Marion received the Alumnae Association Past President’s Award for Staff Excellence.
Winnie Lee Claybrook Mathis (class of 1971) of Dothan received the ninth Alumna Loyalty Award, and Wilda Slaughter Jones (class of 1952) of Birmingham received the 52nd Outstanding Alumna Award.
The J-Day court was also presented, and senior Jennifer Jones of Russellville was named J-Day queen.
