Mike Allums is the new pastor of Lake Catoma Baptist Church, Cullman. He was called into ministry and ordained at New Temple Baptist Church, Dora, at age 41 and has served as pastor of churches in Walker, Blount, Jefferson, Etowah, St. Clair, Chilton and Cullman counties.
Allums holds a bachelor of Christian ministry from the Alabama extension of Leavell College, a master of Christian ministry from New Orleans Seminary and a doctor of ministry in applied theology from Southern Seminary. He and his wife, Nita, have three children and 11 grandchildren.
