Linden Baptist hosts city school’s teachers, administrators

On Aug. 4, Linden Baptist Church in Bethel Baptist Association hosted its annual ‘Teacher Appreciation Day’ and welcomed 82 teachers and administrators from city schools and Marengo Academy for a luncheon and other entertainment. Pastor Billy Harris said the church continues to host the event to help ‘promote unity, promote goodwill, to show our love, our affirmation’ and to tell them ‘what you do is very important.’ (Photo courtesy of Linden Baptist Church)
