Sue Eudy Godwin. Oxford, England: Trafford Publishing, 2007. 81 pp. (Paperback).
Subtitled “The Christian’s Biblical Responsibility for Body Care,” this outstanding book will remind readers that giving attention to one’s health is vitally important. In fact, the author maintains that this concern is a duty for the Christian, as well as an opportunity.
Rick Lance has written, “Thanks, Sue, for being an unassuming and unpretentious servant of the Lord.”
Based on biblical truths, this inspirational volume will help individuals to maintain good physical and emotional health by eating properly and keeping active physically, emotionally and intellectually.
This reviewer is especially grateful for the author’s closing paragraph: “I will join you in prayer for success in any endeavor you undertake for a healthier body. Good health is less expensive physically, mentally and bunches more fun.”
Quite frankly, this is the most challenging book this reviewer has read in a long time. The author’s husband is Charles Godwin, longtime Huntsville pastor.
