Longtime Hartselle-area pastor Anthony Patterson, 75, died Oct. 4 in Guntersville.
“Bro. Anthony was both well-known and well-loved by all of us at the [Morgan Baptist] Association who knew him,” the association posted on its Facebook page. “He faithfully served through our association and in several churches in Alabama, most recently as pastor of Gum Springs Baptist Church. He will be missed.”
He was a minister for Gum Springs Baptist Church, Hartselle, for many years, prior to retiring.
He is survived by two children and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be today (Oct. 5) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home, 1600 Highway 31 SW, Hartselle, AL 35640. The funeral is Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
