Matt Helms is the new pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Scottsboro. Helms has served as pastor of several churches in Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky. He is a graduate of University of West Alabama (formerly Livingston University); Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky; Luther Rice Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida; and Troy University. He and his wife, Tracie, have two daughters and six grandchildren. (Tennessee River)
