McCreless retires from Broadway Baptist, named pastor emeritus

Kevin McCreless recently retired from Broadway Baptist Church, Rainsville, after serving 33 years as pastor. He was honored during the Feb. 2 worship service and named pastor emeritus.

The church sanctuary also was named the McCreless Worship Center. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Samford University, a master’s from Beeson Divinity School and a doctorate from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, Boston, Massachusetts.

McCreless and his wife, Teri, have two children and four grandchildren.
