Mount Olive #2 Baptist Church celebrates centennial anniversary

Mount Olive #2 Baptist Church, Union Grove, celebrated its 100th anniversary Sept. 13. Rick Lance, executive director of Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, was the guest speaker. Special music was provided by Trusting Grace Quartet. The church was honored with presentations given by Lance on behalf of SBOM; another from Eric Taylor, associational mission strategist of Marshall Baptist Association; and Wendell Dutton, a commissioner for the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission. A new communion table Bible was dedicated, and a time capsule was sealed to be opened in 50 years.
