Jerome Ward is the new pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Hartselle.
He previously served as the church’s minister of music.
He also has 23 years of experience as an educator.
Ward has a bachelor’s degree from Athens State University, a master’s degree from the University of North Alabama in Florence and a doctoral degree in educational administration from the University of Alabama.
He and his wife, Tracy, have four children.
